Shipping

We Ship To The 48 contiguous U.S. states and Washington, D.C.

Sadly we don't ship everywhere. To ensure our artwork remains affordable and accessible, we've carefully selected shipping zones where we can maintain reasonable delivery costs. Unfortunately, for certain distant U.S. locations, the shipping expense would far exceed the artworks cost. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. Territories.

Shipping Costs

We Offer Free Shipping in the USA, we do not ship to all US states. See above states we ship to or add your address to your order to see if we ship to you.

Please allow 5-8 business days, plus transit time, not including holiday schedules.

Shipping Delay Disclaimer

We are not be responsible for delays due to weather, natural disasters, strikes political unrest or other events.

How Do I Track My Purchase

You'll receive an email, with the email you provided with tracking information when your artwork ships.

Do You Ship To PO Boxes?

No, we do not.

What Happens If I Enter The Wrong Shipping Address?

Contact me immediately at contact@amyalcidart.com. We will do our best to reroute your package. In most cases reshipping costs apply if the product is already printed.

Shipping Carriers

USPS, FedEx, UPS or GLS, whichever carrier is most economical.

How Is The Art Packed For Shipping?

Canvas Wraps are packaged in corrugated cardboard boxes.

Prints are mailed in kraft mailing tubes to prevent damage, artwork may be curled slightly which is normal, follow steps below to uncurl. In some cases smaller prints are mailed flat. 

Frames are not included.

How To Unroll Unframed Prints

  1. Clean Hands & Surface: Keep it clean to avoid marks.
  2. Open The Package: Tear or cut the packing materials carefully.
  3. Handle Edges Only: Avoid touching the art image.
  4. Place Image: Artwork down, gently unroll onto a clean surface or clean paper.
  5. Flatten Overnight: Place heavy, flat, clean objects over Artwork.
  6. Repeat if Needed: If still curved, flatten longer.

Return Policy

Return & Replacement Policy: Amy Alcid Art

We stand by the quality and craftsmanship of every piece of artwork we sell. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we want you to love your new art!

We offer a 30-day return or replacement policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return or replacement.

Understanding Returns & Replacements

  • Quality Guarantee: If there are any defects with the canvas or the artwork's quality, we will happily send you a replacement.
  • Shipping Damage: In the unfortunate event that your artwork arrives damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately. We require photos of both the shipping container and the damaged artwork to process a replacement.
  • Unsatisfied with Your Artwork: If you are simply unsatisfied with your artwork for any reason, please contact us right away so we can discuss a solution. We handle these requests on a case-by-case basis, as our printing partner doesn't always require a physical return.

Damages & Defective Issues

Please inspect your order immediately upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us at amyalcidart@gmail.com without delay. This allows us to evaluate the issue promptly and make it right for you.

Refunds

Refunds are processed on a case-by-case basis. Once we receive your email with the necessary images and information, we will contact you with a resolution. In most instances, a replacement artwork is shipped out.

How to Initiate a Return or Replacement

All inquiries for returns or replacements begin with an email.

Provide Information: In your email, please include the following:

  • High-quality images of the defective artwork and, if applicable, the damaged packaging.
  • The reason for your return or replacement request (e.g., defect, shipping damage, general dissatisfaction).
  • Your date of purchase.
  • Your purchase order number.

We will review your request and get back to you with the next steps.

If you have been approved for a refund or replacement and more than 15 business days have passed without a resolution, please contact us at amyalcidart@gmail.com.

Is Your Artwork Original?

  • Yes, all artwork on my website is created solely by me, unless a collaboration is explicitly stated.
  • My art is created in real-life on  paper, canvas or other support using acrylic, gouache, ink, and other mediums.

My Thoughts On Artificial Intelligence

  • My Paintings here are NOT created or assisted with AI.
  • All of my current Art is original and printed/reproduced from those exact original paintings I created.
  • I do love the idea of AI technology and use generative AI in some of my digital work. 

Artwork Product Info

How Is The Artwork Printed?

High-resolution scans are printed with archival inks for a vibrant “Giclee” print, resulting in long-lasting prints.

What Is A Giclee?

Superior quality,  high-res inkjet printing with archival inks, the standard for museum/gallery reproductions. "Giclée" (zhee'clay) means "to spray" in French, describing the inkjet process.

Does My Artwork Come Framed And Ready To Hang?

Canvas wraps and framed prints include frames and hanging wire. 

Unframed prints, frame not included.

Artwork And Screen Color

While I strive to ensure that the original high-resolution scans accurately reflect the actual colors of the online artwork, variations may occur due to differences in computer monitors, tablets, and phone screens (brightness, contrast, saturation, etc.).

How Long Will My Artwork Last?

Properly cared for Canvas & Prints use archival eco-solvent inks and last over 100 years.

  • Prints should be framed & matted.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, damp & humidity.

Caring For Artwork

  • Keep out of direct sunlight.
  • Keep out of humid or damp areas.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Do not spray or soak Artwork.
  • Canvas, wipe with damp cloth.
  • We recommend framing and matting your "Print" Artwork.
  • Prints Artwork, gently dust the frame and glass with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Does My Artwork Come Framed And Ready To Hang?

No. Currently I offer open editions (unlimited reproductions).
